Niamh Harte | Ireland
Niamh Harte is an Irish ceramic artist. After studying for a degree in Archaeology and the History of Art in UCD, she trained in Ceramics at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, UIAH Helsinki, and Dartington Pottery, Devon, England. Her current work is a riot of texture inspired by tree-bark and rock formations. Her work has recently toured Ireland, as part of the group exhibition Irish Contemporary Ceramics, and has been shown at numerous venues including the National Craft Centre, Kilkenny, and the National Museum, Collins Barracks, Dublin.
