Leo Duff works as a maker of drawn images to do with a sense of place. The juxtaposition of buildings, urban, rural and coastal landscapes and the environments of various forms of architecture from the vernacular to the grandiose, ancient and contemporary, have taken her over the world to record and respond to natural and manufactured construction and deconstruction by man and time.

She works with the built environment and a sense of place. She is currently investigating the construction and deconstruction of stone buildings, the movement of stone from one place to another and the encroachment of concrete in Europe and East Asia.

Born in Ireland but living in London, Duff works throughout the world. Recent research and developed works have been carried out at the Stonehenge Riverside Project and at Shovel Down on Dartmoor.
